We’ve been having the best time working with The Boxcar Boys on their latest record. They’ve enlisted Mojito’s help to record, mix and master their newest record. If you’re not familiar with the Toronto locals, they play a tremendous blend of gypsy-jazz, done up with a solid New Orleans feel.

The band consists of John Williams on clarinet, Rob Teehan on sousaphone, Karl Silveira on trombone, Laura Bates on fiddle, Ronen Segall on accordion, with a guest appearance from Adrian Gross on mandolin.

The Boxcar Boys are doing their album live-off-the-floor and the sheer number of tunes they’ve cranked out in the studio is impressive! Here are a few photos from our recording session with them at Verge Music Lab.
