We’re trying out (yet) another studio session concept. This one is focussed on traditional bluegrass music, for which we’ve enlisted the help of the Toronto four-piece, The Slocan Ramblers. The Slocan’s are four uber-skilled musicians with an incredible old-time folk-bluegrass sound.

The idea behind the session is to pair The Slocan Ramblers with songwriters of other genres and styles, and arrange bluegrass versions of the songwriter’s tunes.

For the pilot episode we recruited the wonderfully talented songstress, Jadea Kelly.
